About · Care·To Pilates

Movement, taught with care.

A Pilates studio for people who want to move well — strong, flexible, and without pain.

Our style

Strength, flexibility, and the balance between.

We help you find the balance of strength and flexibility in your body. Control and proper alignment keep you healthy and moving without pain.

What you learn here carries into everything else you do. We come back to three things:

Breath — the pace of the practice, and the thing you'll take home first.

Alignment — moving the way your body is built to move.

Control — strength you own, at every speed.

Kerttu Veske, owner of Care·To Pilates

The owner

From injury to practice.

Kerttu grew up in a small town in Estonia, raised in the arts, and moved to New York in 2011. Years of high-intensity movement asked a lot of her body — until a serious back injury took her from a fully active life to almost none.

Rehabilitation introduced her to Pilates, and it changed everything. Here was a conscious way of moving — one that rebuilt the connection between her mind and body, and got her moving again with little pain.

After eight years of teaching in New York, she brought her practice to Boulder. With the support of her clients, she built the studio — and the team you'll meet below.

Why “Care·To”

Kerttu's Estonian name was hard for Americans to say — until she taught it as a question: “Care to grab coffee? Care to do Pilates?” The name stuck. It keeps her roots close, with the caring part built right in.

The team

Our instructors.

Haline, instructor at Care·To Pilates

Haline

Ballet and modern dance from her childhood in Brazil shaped how she moves. She found Pilates in Portugal over 13 years ago, and it's been her daily practice since.

Alli, instructor at Care·To Pilates

Alli

An elementary music teacher from Arlington Heights, Illinois, Alli found Pilates in 2022 and fell for how fun, functional, and empowering it felt. She completed our teacher training program under Kerttu's mentorship — and never left.

Amy, instructor at Care·To Pilates

Amy

Amy moved to Boulder in 2015 for a BA in Dance at CU Boulder. A long-time client before joining the team, she completed our teacher training program and brings a dancer's precision and a real love of this community.
